Touss Project

Touss Project

TOUSS (TransOral UltraSonic Surgery) or transoral ultrasonic surgery is a procedure developed for the minimally invasive approach of upper airway lesions.

Based on the world of laparoscopy and the philosophy of treating pathology through less harmful access routes for the patient, TOUSS allows treating pharynx and larynx tumors, as well as other benign lesions of the head of the neck, through the mouth without the need for external access.

In addition, thanks to the high quality of the endoscopes it allows a visualization of the field with great sharpness and precision. And, combined with the technology of cutting and coagulation of ultrasound by the Thunderbeat clamp, dynamic tumor removal is achieved and with great safety.
